SHAO Linzhengrong (SHAO-Lin)
The Task Tracker, a web menu embedded within the Process Operation Platform for task management and progress monitoring, initially faced significant challenges after its launch. Employees were reluctant to adopt the tool, and managers found task allocation within it cumbersome. To address these issues, the Task Tracker was redesigned as a streamlined solution to simplify task management, improve task allocation for managers, and create a user-friendly experience aimed at boosting employee engagement and encouraging widespread adoption.

What we needs to be improved
We conducted interviews with nine employees in our company: six project managers, two regular employees, and one employee who serves as both a project manager and team manager.
Using the insights gathered from these interviews, we identified key pain points, which were then organized and analyzed through an Affinity Diagram and User Persona development.
Systematic
- Platform repeatedly logs out.
- The interface takes too long to load.
- Low browser compatibility.
Interaction
- Usage process is fragmented.
- The interface design/operation are unreasonable.
- Some necessary features are not found.

Based on the interview and analysis data, I redesigned the user flow and then developed the platform's functions.
Wireframe
After eight months of design and development work, the app was launched, and the results have been impressive. User engagement has increased by 30%, with an average of 15% more time spent on the app by users. Additionally, the team has reported a 20% increase in app downloads and a 25% increase in in-app purchases.
